WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Audit
powered by G o o g l e Lighthouse
What does this tool do? This tool scans any public website URL for WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance using Google Lighthouse, an open-source auditing engine developed by Google. When you enter a URL and click "Check Accessibility," the tool runs a real-time audit of the page using Google's official infrastructure and returns a numerical accessibility score (0–100).
What the Results Mean:
- PASS (Green): The page scored 90 or above, indicating strong alignment with WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
- FAIL (Red): The page scored below 90, suggesting that improvements are needed to meet basic accessibility standards for screen readers, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and semantic structure.
